Kaelo K. Taupedi

Mr. Taupedi heads the Commercial and Arbitration Department of Plaatjie Taupedi. He was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of Botswana in 2016 and as a fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) NPC in 2021. He worked at Armstrongs Attorneys, in the corporate commercial department, for several years before making partner at Plaatjie Taupedi.

Kaelo focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, negotiation and drafting various commercial contracts/agreements, due diligence and financial markets. He also advises on a wide range of practice areas covering expropriation of property, corporate transactions, commercial litigation, tax, licensing and regulatory compliance matters. He also heads the conveyancing department of the firm.
