Olorato T. Plaatjie

Olorato is a seasoned legal consultant with over eight years of experience in litigation, regulatory compliance, industrial relations and debt recovery. She has appeared before the High Court, Industrial Court, and various tribunals, representing financial institutions and corporate clients in complex civil matters.

She leads in compliance strategy, legal risk assessment, and regulatory advisory, particularly within highly regulated sectors for businesses seeking governance and operational alignment. She has experience in assisting employers and employees navigate employment contracts, workplace policies, disputes, retrenchments, and compliance with Botswana’s labour laws.

Olorato currently consults under the Plaatjie Taupedi banner, offering tailored legal solutions to businesses. She is also passionate about women’s legal empowerment, and actively supports youth through mentorship and volunteer work.
